LAW8010 Advanced Externship

Continuation of Externship I, which may be under the same or different practicing attorney. Under the supervision of a practicing attorney and faculty supervisor, students learn about the lawyering process firsthand by interning in the private or public sector and attending a classroom component. Students improve on reflective learning and problem-solving skills, increase their substantive legal knowledge, explore issues of professionalism and ethics, and gain a deeper understanding of the legal system and the practice of law. Field placement must be approved by the Associate Dean for Experiential Learning. Prerequisite: Externship I
