MGT 6550 Product Innovation Strategy
This course examines how organizations identify market opportunities, generate and refine product concepts, and apply innovation approaches and emerging technologies to design, develop, and bring products and services to market. Students analyze how automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and design thinking inform product strategy, concept evaluation, and go-to-market planning. Emphasis is placed on manager-level decision making: evaluating opportunities, translating innovation capabilities into market and organizational value, defining performance measures, and leading adoption across stakeholders. No technical system design or coding is required.
