SOC 314 Community Organizing & Advocacy
This course covers the important aspects of community organizing carried out by change agents and non-profit organizations. This course provides opportunities for both current and future community leaders to gain the knowledge and skills most needed to actively engage their community. The course will provide students with both the theoretical underpinnings and current best practices within the field. In addition, research surrounding current issues and future trends will be explored.
