Intellectual Property Policy and Students
By enrolling in the University, the student gives the University a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to mark on, modify, and retain the student's Intellectual Property (work) as may be required for course completion or other University activities. The University will not have the right to use the Intellectual Property (work) in any other manner without the written consent of the student, except as otherwise provided in the Wilmington University Student Handbook, including but not limited to the University’s Public Display and Posting Policy. The University shall be under no obligation to use the Intellectual Property (work) in any manner or to otherwise permit its display or performance, and shall have sole and absolute discretion in any decision to use or permit the display or performance, or not use or permit the display or performance, of the Intellectual Property (work).
