CTA 201 Gen AI Prompting & Practice
Gen AI Prompting & Practice is a self-paced course designed to develop advanced prompt-writing skills and practical AI automation strategies for workplace applications. Building on foundational AI knowledge, students will master techniques for task identification, critical evaluation of AI outputs, and ethical implementation of AI tools across multi-step projects. The course emphasizes automation of routine tasks, responsible AI use, including privacy and copyright considerations, and integration of AI assistants into collaborative workplace functions. Students will complete a practical project demonstrating their ability to design and implement AI-driven automation solutions in a real-world context. This interdisciplinary course is applicable across all programs at Wilmington University and can be completed in 2 to 7 weeks. Upon successful completion of the course and passing the CompTIA AI Prompting Essentials exam, students will earn the CompTIA AI Prompting Essentials CompCert credential.
