LAW6020 Contracts I

This course focuses on the requirements for creating and determining the existence of an enforceable agreement. Topics covered include, (1) mutual assent and related aspects of contract formation, such as objective theory, mutual understanding, and indefiniteness; and (2) bases for legal enforcement, including consideration, promissory estoppel, unjust enrichment, and antecedent benefit conferred. Prerequisite: None
