GRN 7102 Advanced Practice Roles in Nursing Practice
This course examines advanced practice nursing (APRN) roles. Critical issues that define APRN scope of practice as well as nurse practitioner competencies and regulation are explored including historical, social, political, legal, and economic issues related to advance practice roles. Students will develop skills related to interprofessional collaborative practice, team building, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Prerequisite
Acceptance into the Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program.
