GRN 7205 Psychiatric Mental Health Application, Management, and Advancement Across the Lifespan

This course examines advanced psychotherapeutic interventions and comprehensive psychiatric assessment for individuals with complex psychiatric-mental health conditions across the lifespan. Students will deepen their competencies in both neurobiological and psychosocial frameworks to support the development of evidence-based, guideline-driven treatment plans. The course also highlights the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner’s (PMHNP) role in health promotion, leadership, quality improvement, ethical decision-making, policy advocacy, and interprofessional collaboration, with particular attention to the care of at-risk and vulnerable populations.
