GRN 7104 Advanced Health Assessment Across the Lifespan

 This course examines advanced health assessment skills across the lifespan, building on foundational history-taking and physical examination techniques. Students will enhance their diagnostic reasoning, critical thinking, and ability to identify abnormal findings within a clinical laboratory setting. Emphasis is placed on the physical, developmental, psychosocial, and cultural dimensions of care, along with the promotion of health and wellness. Through hands-on practice with faculty and peers, students will refine communication skills, gather comprehensive health histories, perform advanced assessments, and create patient-centered care plans. By course completion, students will be able to conduct a complete health assessment and deliver a comprehensive case presentation demonstrating sound clinical judgment.
