GRN 7221 Psychiatric Mental Health Practicum I

This is the first of four clinical practice experiences. Students will apply clinical concepts of psychopharmacologic management, therapeutic modalities, and comprehensive psychiatric assessment to the care of individuals with psychiatric–mental health conditions across the lifespan. Utilizing evidence-based principles, students will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to establish patient-centered treatment plans for psychiatric-mental health conditions. 175 direct care clinical hours are required.
