LAW7500 Administrative Law

This course introduces students to the core institutions and processes of the modern administrative state. Students will understand the tremendous power exercised by administrative agencies as well as the significant constraints under which they operate. Students will learn the procedures governing the key categories of administrative action; the doctrine governing judicial review of administrative action; and non-judicial mechanisms of agency control within the Constitution’s separation-of-powers framework. Prerequisite: None
