LAW7562 Health Care Law

This course is primarily based in U.S. federal and some state law as it pertains to health and medical law. It examines legal issues in health care including licensing healthcare professionals, healthcare-patient relationships, liability, medical liability, discrimination, healthcare reform, insurance regulation, and Covid-19. This course will stay up-to-date on changes that impact health law. This should be a relevant course to anyone who wants to gain a general understanding of healthcare law. The course will use various techniques to teach the materials including simulations and other in-class collaborative learning techniques. Pre-requisite: None
