LAW7566 Intellectual Property Law

This course provides an overview of intellectual property (IP) rights, such as patent, copyright, trademark, right of publicity, and trade secret. Students will learn about the scope of specific IP rights through cases and hypotheticals, evaluate the business risks associated with IP rights, gain an understanding of critical components of an IP license, and utilize government IP databases to obtain information regarding intellectual property registrations.  Pre-requisite: None
