LAW8200 Trial Advocacy Skills

This course will teach students to perform trial skills based on strategic themes and theories. Classroom time includes lecture/discussion and role playing/practical exercises. The students will conduct direct and cross-examination of both lay and expert witnesses, opening and closing statements, make objections and introduce exhibits. The course will culminate with each student performing in a mock trial. Prerequisite: Evidence
